Now that the 2013 Studio Tour has come and gone, I have been able to get back to work in my studio. I have a show going up in San Francisco from January 17th – March 27th, 2014, and I need to have at least 20 pieces of Judaic work. I have finished about 14 pieces, but in my quest to create enough new work for this show, I am leaving for Israel on November 7th. I hope that the inspiration of Jerusalem and the beauty of Israel will help me to create several new pieces while I’m there. I will set up my studio in my hotel room (as I’ve done before in other places I’ve gone to work,) and I’ll spend part of each day exploring and working. I am very excited and looking forward to this time to work. After my time in Israel, I’ll be going to Tanzania to go on a safari with my husband Rob! Quite an adventure, and we’ll be home for Thanksgiving!
